Dennis Savage has lived in Hocking County, OH since the early 1970’s . Savage has been exhibiting his photographs since 1985. He has been selected three times by the Ohio Arts Council for an individual fellowship in photography. Selected group and solo exhibitions of Savage’s work include Silver Image Gallery- Ohio State University, Burke Hall- Denison University, Zone VI Gallery- Sinclair College, Magic Silver Gallery- Murray State University, Artlink Gallery- Fort Wayne, Muskingum College, Kennedy Museum- Ohio University, Otterbein College, Dublin Arts Council, Rife Gallery-Columbus and The Weston Gallery- Cincinnati. Savage’s work toured internationally as part of an Ohio and Lake Erie West artists traveling exhibit. Savage’s work can always be seen at Great Expectations Café and More at the Hocking Hills Farmer’s Market on U.S. Route 33 just East of Rockbridge. Some work is also available at Nelsonville Emporium, 44 W. Washington Street in Nelsonville’s Historic Square Arts District and The Inn at Cedar Falls.
